York Stage is one of the city's leading theatre companies. Creating professional quality theatre with community led casts. They also have York Stage School (YSS) housed at Theatre@41. YSS specialise in the training of young performers helping them build confidence and a theatrical skill set.

Pick Me Up is a pioneering independent theatre company that first took to the York stage in 2012. Specialising in producing new and daring works, Pick Me Up (PMU) are one of Theatre@41 resident producers, staging at least three performances at our venue in a year!

Once Seen Theatre Company (OSTC) are a group run for and by adults with physical and/or learning disabilities. A one time subsidiary of York people First, OSTC hold their weekly rehearsals in our building and house two performances here a year.
